While I didn't win the competition (my opponent was incredibly skilled, and I put up a decent fight), this experience taught me invaluable lessons about weight management.
However, I want to be clear: this level of weight cutting is extreme and not something I recommend for most competitors. It was a unique situation where other weight classes were sold out.
